ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Foster relationships with customers in a team-based selling model Manage deliveries and troubleshoot any order process problems Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary Identify prospective customers and develop new business Stay informed about market conditions, product innovations, and competitors Drive to visit customers and prospects, ensuring product delivery RELATIONSHIPS Internal: District Sales Manager, Regional Sales Manager, VP of Local Sales, Accounting/Credit Department, Merchandising and Marketing, Operations, and Customer Contact External: Customers, vendors, prospective customers WORK ENVIRONMENT Frequently outside the office environment visiting customers in variable weather and temperature conditions MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS 1+ year of sales experience preferred Excellent oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities Competitive spirit and results-driven mentality Team player with exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills Proficient computer skills; Microsoft Office products PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS Must be able to perform various physical activities including standing, walking, driving, lifting, and carrying COMPENSATION The expected base rate for this role is between $50,000.00 and $95,000.00 with incentive compensation and benefits including health insurance, retirement, paid time off, and more
