Facilities Technician

Pay Range: $18 - $24 per hour Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM with occasional overtime as needed As a Facilities Technician, you will maintain and repair building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical), troubleshoot equipment issues, and keep accurate records. You will also assemble equipment components per blueprints, collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues, and use basic metrology tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to ensure precise measurements. Additionally, you will operate cranes, forklifts, and scissor lifts, contribute to Continuous Improvement initiatives, follow 5S practices to maintain an organized work environment, and ensure adherence to quality control standards. Other duties will be assigned as needed to support the team and business operations. Qualifications: 1-3 years of experience in maintenance and assembly, with skills in blueprint reading, mechanical systems, and basic machine shop operations. Trade school diploma in industrial maintenance, pneumatics, hydraulics, or a related field preferred. Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and basic metrology tools (calipers, micrometers). Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work overtime as needed.
