As Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventive and predictive maintenance to include troubleshooting issues, repairing failures of production (CNC Machines) and facilities equipment, as well as ensuring maximum equipment efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities: Provides emergency or scheduled repairs of production equipment. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders. Repair/replace defective parts. Examine form and texture of parts to determine imperfections. Perform housekeeping functions in the shop to maintain a clean and safe working environment. Troubleshoot and repair equipment. Perform facility repairs, as needed. Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment. Assist SHEQ in promoting and monitoring Safety First initiatives and goals as stated in the MR Operational Policy throughout the organization. May require additional evening, weekend and/or holiday hours in an emergency. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned. Knowledge/Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred. An A.A. or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school is highly preferred. Basic computer skills. Forklift Certification preferred. Experience: Minimum 3-years ofrelated experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience may be considered in lieu of education. Prior experience on Okuma, Mazak, Mori Seikiis strongly preferred. Internal Qualifications: Excellent attendance. Competency Requirements: Ability to operate equipment in a safe and controlled manner Proficient with hand and power tools Must have experience in troubleshooting equipment Ability to understand and practice good mechanical assembly Able to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures includingexposure to work in extreme changes in temperature or humidity. Excellent oral and written communication skills Excellent time management skills. Ability to work with minimal guidance. Ability to work well with others and as part of a team. Work also involves climbing up to four to six (4-6) feet using ladders or raising up to fifty (50) feet using a powered industrial truck.
