As an AWS/Python Developer, you will: • Design and modernize applications supporting the Financial Management Transformation initiative • Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services, with a focus on data processing and analysis • Develop and maintain Python applications for data manipulation • Collaborate with business partners to translate requirements into technical solutions • Conduct thorough testing to ensure software responsiveness, efficiency, and accuracy • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing software systems • Implement robust security measures and data protection protocols • Produce comprehensive technical documentation • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices You'll be part of a collaborative team that values innovation and continuous learning. Job Requirements Required Skills & Experience • 4-5 years of professional software development experience • Strong Python development expertise (3+ years) • Proficiency in AWS technologies (Postgres, Redshift, S3, Glue, etc.) with 2+ years of hands-on experience • Experience with databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.) • Experience working in an agile environment (preferred) • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills • Strong communication and teamwork abilities • Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or a relevant field
