We are looking for a Driver to join our team in one of today's most exciting technologies. This role will report to Manufacturing Supervisor and based in Newark, DE . This is a fully on-site, in office role . Role and Responsibilities: Deliver items between different Bloom Energy addresses Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate delivery vehicles Know the limits of the vehicle being driven and the height (size) compared to obstacles preventing accidents Conduct yard jockey responsibilities in the warehouse truck yard De-palletize & de-crate incoming materials Operate forklift Help load/unload raw materials from truck Palletized and shrink wrap finished product Move waste from department floor to outside dumpsters Complete daily logs Perform Oracle transactions Palletize and shrink wrap empty totes/boxes Prioritize work by interacting with area leads Assist in development of manufacturing procedures to create the most efficient processes Provide on-the-job training to new workers and employees Inspect incoming and outgoing product for quality control Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and Job Safety Analysis (JSAs) Receive, open and inspect all incoming packages Prioritize assignments based on current workloads Follow guidelines established for department operations Elevate problems or concerns to supervisor Put away stock into correct inventory locations as directed Process Material Requests, pull parts and adjust system inventories Maintain a clean and orderly work area Perform other duties as assigned Skills and Experience: High School Diploma required Must be able to produce: Valid Delaware CDL-A License in good standing Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate per the Federal Motor Carrier Service regulations Proven work experience as delivery driver/jockey Ability to operate a manual vehicle Experience (1 year minimum) heavy truck driving experience (required 26 foot box truck, 24 foot stake bed and 11 foot cargo space utility van) Skill in operating large vehicles listed above in congested areas Prefer at least 1 year of experience as forklift operator and a valid forklift operators certificate (or willing to provide training certification) Experience with Oracle database utilizing inventory, receiving & cycle count modules preferred Ability to work independently Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required Experience in warehouse shipping/receiving preferred Effective communication and customer service skills Experience using computerized spreadsheets, email and word-processing programs Working Conditions: Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work / Drive frequently outside in all weather conditions for drop and hook, opening barn doors and trailer docking. Work involves frequent lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds.
