EFY Sales is a dynamic NYC & WBE-certified supplier of kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, custom casework, bathroom accessories, and specialty items for General Contractors, Developers, Landlords, Property Managers, and Government Agencies.The Assistant Project Manager (APM) supports and assists the organization's operations. The APM will manage project estimating, ordering, and budget adherence, ensuring projects meet company standards and client expectations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Collaborate with architects, client's project managers, and site supers.Assist in selecting subcontractors and delegating responsibilities.Manage delays and emergencies to a satisfactory resolution.Ensure compliance with safety and building codes and legal requirements.Report project progress and budget to managementPrepare budget and cost estimates along with work timetablesWork with the executive team to enhance organizational capabilities.Establish and maintain productive peer-to-peer relationships with customersSupport achieving strategic objectives critical to other areas within the firm.SKILLSCORE COMPETENCIES REQUIREDPREFERRED:Desire to enhance understanding of the real estate and construction industries, focusing on ground-up and gut renovation multi-family, NYC affordable, and market-rate housing.Demonstrates and promotes a positive, can-do attitude.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.Excellent customer service skills.Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external leaders.Strong analytical skills to evaluate organizational success in reaching goals, ensuring each strategic goal is measurable.Leadership skills that provide vision, direction, and a positive attitude.Management skills that foster a culture of learning and development among employees.EDUCATIONALEXPERIENCE REQUIREDPREFERRED:Bachelor's degree - Construction-related field.3+ years of experience, preferably in real estate or construction with a focus on multi-family kitchen and bath cabinets for NYC landlords, developers and construction managers.
