Data Visualization Specialist - IT Security (NFL)

Great Opportunity to work remotely on one of our NFL Technology Teams!!This is a remotecontract position.Data Visualization Specialist (IT Security)We are seeking a skilled Data Visualization Specialist to join the NFL's Information Technology Security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data visualization principles, experience with industry-leading tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and a keen eye for identifying security trends and vulnerabilities.Key Responsibilities:Data Analysis and Visualization: Analyze large and complex datasets to identify security trends, anomalies, and potential threats.Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize security metrics and KPIs.Create visualizations that are easy to understand and actionable for both technical and non-technical audiences.Security Intelligence: Collaborate with security analysts to understand their data needs and requirements.Develop visualizations that provide insights into threat actors, attack techniques, and emerging security risks.Create dashboards to monitor security events, incident response activities, and overall security posture.Data Preparation and ETL: Cleanse, transform, and model data for visualization purposes.Ensure data accuracy and consistency.Develop and maintain data pipelines to automate data ingestion and preparation processes.Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with security analysts, engineers, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights.Effectively communicate complex technical information to a wide range of audiences, including executive leadership.Provide training and support to end-users on the use of data visualization tools and reports.Required Skills:Strong proficiency in Power BI and Tableau.Solid understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes.Proficiency in SQL and other data querying languages.Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) tools.Knowledge of common security frameworks (e.g., NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls).Excellent data analysis and problem-solving skills.Strong communication and presentation skills.By joining our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on the NFL organization's security posture.
