This position is for Aludyne's West Michigan plants, primarily based in Benton Harbor and sometimes work out of close by Stevensville.Primary Duties and Responsibilities Include:Recruit and hire for internal & external candidate solicitations to fill vacant positionsInterviewing employment candidatesHiring and orientating selected candidates, including compilation of related paperworkMonitor departmental staffing, maintain balance between operational needs & budgeted headcountEmployee communications, postings, functions & eventsMaintain staffing rosters for recruiting & labor budget management purposesCollect manual & electronic data about staffing transfers, vacancies, labor budget adjustments, & overall workforce status; manipulate HR software and Excel staffing databasesspreadsheetsSeek continuous improvement in standard HR practices & procedures, overall employment practices, policies & other related areasProcess payroll for hourly workforceRequirements2+ years HR generalist experience2+ years Recruiting hourly employees within a manufacturing environmentAbility to be creative regarding recruitingLabor & employment law, especially MichiganPCHRIS applications; MS Office Suite, Paylocity or similar is a plusGeneral business acumenEmployees are expected to work and attend in person meetings as necessaryPreferredBachelor's degree in HR, or related fieldManufacturing experienceAludyne is an equal employment opportunity employer such that all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, age, or other legally protected status.Aludyne does not seek or accept unsolicited resumes or offers of recruiting service associated with any published or unpublished employment opportunities.
