Sports Specialist

The DTLR Sports Specialist will develop and oversea sports-related outreach programs, such as football camps, athlete in-stores, basketball clinics, and more. Additionally, they must foster relationships with amateur and professional sports clubs and sports-related vendors. This leader is accountable for driving strategic and actionable cultural partnerships that support our DTLR Sports strategy. This leader will effectively exhibit DTLRs core values of in their key duties: DutiesResponsibilities:Ideate and facilitate sports related activations Networking with coaches, leagues and teams in our trading area to deliver partnership that can elevate our sports-related activations Identify venues for improvement or activities in our trading areas. Procure resources to support sports and recreation programing Identify and maintain relationships with industry-relevant influencers and partners Promote healthy and active lifestyle habits within our marketplace Promoting sportsmanship and the benefits of teamwork and team sportsAct as the owner of DTLR Sports partnerships and work with the team to deliver culture relevance on behalf of DTLR Communicate creative briefs and guidelinesobjectives of key programs to partners Providing recommendations on new ways to partner based on ongoing research in social and cultural trends and tools Evaluate relationships - both long and short-term - to optimize and align with key brand priorities and programs Oversee merchandise removal requests andor gathering of samples for influencers, photoshoots, and seedingOversee execution of influencer program including deliverables, timelines and coordination of logistics Responsible for direct report oversight of all Talent team members including interviewing, hiring, and training Talent Cultural Partnership employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and performance managing employees; addressing inquiries and resolving problems; ensuring all direct reports are continuously developing and are set up for career growth.
