Ideally need to have 5+ years, GMP, HVAC, and ideally pharmabiotechNeeds refrigeration, electrical, managing system, environmental managing experience, needs to have GMP, HVAC, 5+ years experience, understanding of repairing lab equipmentincubators, bioreactors,OverviewThe Maintenance Calibration Technician II is responsible for maintenance and calibration including repair of equipment and calibration of equipment, utilities and systems supporting cGMP Manufacturing, Laboratories, Warehouse, and commercial office space. Perform planned and corrective maintenance according to written instructions, diagnose issues in the field in real-time, propose corrective solutions, and complete and review related Facilities GMP documents. Provide calibrations for GMP equipment and spaces for accuracy and repeatability. Ensure the safety and compliance of all applicable systems. Shift Options:-Monday - Friday, 3pm - 11:30pm (2nd shift)-Sunday - Wednesday 10pm - 9am (3rd shift) Specific Responsibilities:Support the installation and start-up of Facilities equipment during construction fit-out phase.Demonstrate a strong understanding of HVAC, mechanical, electrical and process utilities systems, and be able to troubleshoot and repair.Perform repairsinstallationsupgrades to building components, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, furniture, flooring and any other general repairs as necessary.Ability to read and interpret engineering and architectural drawings, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, power plans, panel schedules, mechanicalplumbing piping diagrams, Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs)Responsible for installingreconfiguring furniture, chairs and associated equipment, and coordinateassist with personnel moves within the facility.Accountable for the safety of all personnel and equipment within the facility.Monitor and respond to alarms generated from the Building Management System, including off-hours and weekends.Work with management to develop spare parts plans and ensures adequate inventory is maintained and tracked to support the maintenance and operation of the facility and equipment.Receive, filter and execute work order requests as necessary.Ensure that any equipment repairs or maintenance activities are compliant with any applicable building codes.Maintains records on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues.Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process.Work with external vendors for the service andor repair of equipment.Conduct routine inspections of premises and vestigating problems and diagnosing and repairing faults.Support routine calibrations of equipment and instruments in a GMP space.Utilize calibration equipment, standards and devices to execute calibrations.Other duties as required. Education and Qualifications:Associates Degree Trade School Technical Certification (HVACR, Electrical, Plumbing) is desired.4-5 years of related Facilities Maintenance and Calibration experience preferred. Prior experience in cell therapy manufacturing or BioPharmaLife Sciences (GMP Environment) is highly desirable.A strong background in operations and maintenance of chillerboiler plants, pumps and AHU's is required.A strong background in operations and maintenance of electrical systems, including Emergency Generators, ATS's and Switchgear is required.Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Software (Blue Mountain) is required.Experience using Building Management Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems (Siemens Desigo or Insight) is required.Excellent oral and written communication skills required.Must have valid driver's license.Ability to respond to critical facility alarmsalerts including on-call. Physical Requirements:Stand for long periods of time.Ability to squat, crawl and climb ladders.Ability to lift 50lbs. Physical Demands and Activities Required:Must be able to wear appropriate clean room attire and all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), i.e. scrubs, gowning coverall, masks, gloves, etc.Must meet requirements for and be able to wear a half-face respirator.Able to stand andor walk 90% (and sit 10%) of a 10-hr day which may include climbing ladders or steps.Able to crouch, bend, twist, reach, and perform activities with repetitive motions.Must be able to lift and carry objects weighing 50 pounds. Mental:Clear and conceptual thinking ability; excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analysis, and discretion; ability to handle work-related stress; ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously; and ability to meet deadlines. Work Environment:This position will work in both an office, manufacturing cleanrooms and lab setting.When in the lab, must be able to work in a lab with possible chemicalbiochemical exposures, including latex and bleach.Able to work in cleanroom with biohazards, human blood components, and chemicals.Potential exposure to noise and equipment hazards and strong odors.
