ESTIMATOR - ELECTRICAL CONTRACTORResponsibilities:Prepare detailed proposals and make presentationsDevelop highly accurate cost estimates for materials, labor and equipment for electrical installationsUse industry related software to create estimates and manage the project dataPrepare very detailed and accurate construction estimates for commercial and residential projectsPerform site visits to obtain information and evaluate the project requirementsMaintain current knowledge of construction codes, industry trends, regulations and technology as it relates to electrical installationsNegotiate contracts with clients and prospective clients to protect the interests of the CompanyReview and analyze blueprints and specificationsMaintain and manage accurateRequirements:Bachelor's degree in construction management or related fieldProven track record of experience with construction estimatingMust have strong ability to negotiate and communicate with othersMust be knowledgeable in construction principles and estimatingFamiliarity with construction codes and the NECShould be well versed in project management and construction estimating softwareAble to work in a fast paced and team oriented environmentWilling to work on construction sites and in the office
