Network Engineer

As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for a global network infrastructure. You will act as technical representative for your team during major incidents and troubleshooting of network-related issues.Success in this role will require strong and innovative approaches to problem solving, technical leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, accountability and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail.Required Qualifications:5+ years of industry experience and expert knowledge in network operations and implementation of core network infrastructure in data center and enterprise environmentExperience with Layer 2 technologies: STP, LACP, vPCExperience with Layer 3 routing protocols: EIGRPOSPF, BGP, vRF and route redistributionExperience with Network security solutions and technologies: Firewalls, ACLs, IPSec VPNs; NAT on firewallsHands-on experience with Cisco equipment: NexusCatalyst switches, Cisco ASA Firewalls, DMZ segmentationWorking experience with FinTech connectivity providersPublic cloud providers - AWS and Azure: VPCVNET, Direct ConnectExpressRoute, network load balancersMonitoring tools: Network sniffers, deep packet inspection, SolarWinds, PRTGNext Generation Firewalls: Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, FortiGateThe role of Network Engineer - SaaS Operations - is to support and implement complex network infrastructure in a mission-critical datacenter, WAN and enterprise environment.Implement changes in a controlled change management environment.Utilize routing, switching and firewall skills to troubleshoot network issues and performance.Participate in requirement gathering for client onboarding.Work with vendors to establish connectivity with remote parties.Perform datacenter maintenance by installing and maintaining network equipment.Maintain network diagrams and documentation.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionOur teams, comprised of subject matter experts, develop an interest in your preferences and goals and we act as an advisor for your career advancement.
