Job Title: SAP Utilities Finance ArchitectPosition Type: Full-timeLocation: Remote with travelResponsibilities:Responsible for the successful implementation of customer's SAP FICO modules, including providing functional expertise, hands-on delivery, customization, guidance, presentation, and instruction on SAP productsDeep product expertisebusiness experience in SAP Central Finance and S4HANA with specific focus on SAP FinanceControllingAccounting; strong knowledge of SAP S4HANA FinanceKnowledge of upcoming changes in SAP FICO with SAP S4HANA, as well as an eagerness to learn, prototype, and grow expertise in the latest SAP financial technologiesAct as direct point of contact with customer for troubleshooting: investigate, analyze, solve software problems and map client business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy customer's needsAbility to conduct complex and interactive solutioning workshopsStrong knowledge of SAP Implementation ASAP MethodologyProvide continuous feedback on project status and offer constructive options to ensure project continues to meet original expectationsContinuously demonstrate and deliver strong and highly professional customer service commitmentUtilize technical and industry knowledge to identify complex client issues and build long-term business relationships with key executives through engagement delivery, as well as networking in professional organizationsContribute thought leadership to the development and growth of HCL's brand and intellectual capital by, among others: Publishing articles, white papers, andor speaking at select domestic andor global conferencesManage and provide leadership to entry level consultants and become actively involved in team development and practice managementActively contribute to and take a leadership role in pre-sales and RFP initiativeRequirements:Ability to guide, support and mentor HCL Finance teams across more than one client to oversee the implementation of leading SAP enabled Finance solutions that achieve client outcomesHands-on experience in SAP S4HANA Finance a mustUtilities andor Public Sector industry experience is a mustFunctionaltechnical proficiency in SAP applications related work, including at least three full lifecycle SAP FICO implementations and solid industry andor consulting experienceStrong hands on experience in and knowledge of design, configuration and testing of core Financial Accounting (FI) and Managerial Accounting (CO)Strong experience in and knowledge of key integration points with SAP FICO and other SAP modules, including COPA, ML, New GL, SD, MM, PP, PM, PS and T&ESAP FICO, Reporting, and Allocations experience a plusProven experience in configuring, testing, and supporting SAP Finance solutionsMust have implementation experience with configuring document splitting for full balance sheet reporting by different lines of businesses within a company codeStrong experience and knowledge of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Product CostingActual CostingMaterial Ledger, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Orders, Profit Center also importantStrong configuration and design skills requiredBase Salary: $200,000+In addition, this position qualifies for benefits like health insurance, paid time off (PTO), 401(K).
