It's very difficult to put a title on this role. We chose "˜operationsoffice manager' because - a lot like this job - that title seems to encompass a little bit of everything.We are a 14,000+ kid youth-sports organization and there's a little bit of everything happening at all times. We have great coaches and field leadership, but our team needs an administrative superstar to keep the trains running on time and to keep our customers happy!Office Manager responsibilities will include:Mass e-mailingInbound lead communicationCustomer serviceWebsite text and formattingPayroll supportSocial mediaLeagueevent planning and logistical supportOther special projectsWe are looking for someone who's organized, diligent, thorough, and keepscompletes task lists like it's their job ... because it will be!Our office is fun, if not frenetic. We have great people, a great culture (and a great reputation!) and we need this addition to our team to help us achieve our standards of excellence as we continue to grow. Success in this role will require initiative, collaboration, and personal responsibility.The Ideal Candidate:Has experience in office managing, customer service, event planning, andor executive assistant experience.Is a self-starter who can handle multiple projects at once.Has a proclivity towards lists and organization, and is an effective problem solver.This isn't a must, but folks with an Enneagram Type 1 seem to thrive in this role.Hours and Commitment: We run programs year-round and there's a very unique cadence to what we do. This role will be predominantly administrative, but there will be on-field (and weekend) responsibilities during our peak seasons (Fall, Spring).We are in-office Tuesdays and Thursdays (in Takoma Park, MD) and on-field (in DC, MD, VA) on weekends while in season, but the rest of our work is accomplished remotely. Because of the nature of this work, reliable transportation is also a must.
