In this role, you will be overseeing daily operations to ensure the effective completion of engineering and construction projects across multiple disciplines, while managing administrative and financial aspects to drive project success.Job Description:Manage day-to-day construction oversightAssistant Resident Engineering efforts on Construction ProjectsMonitor Contractor performance, schedule, overall responsiveness and effectivenessExerts influence over Contractors to maintain project goals regarding cost, schedule, quality, etc.Manage CM inspection staff and the delivery of daily inspection reports in accordance with clients' requirementsAct as liaison to design staff to respond to Contractors' RFI's and review of shop drawingsProvide technical review of construction plans and specifications and project changes for constructability and practicalityManage office staff responsible for record keeping, general correspondence, compiling and drafting of required reports and deliverablesManage the Contractor payment process and recommends appropriate adjustments as necessary to manage the ContractorResponsible for overall site safety, permit condition compliance and coordination with other client(s)Use effective oral and written communication skills to effectively lead progress, project, safety, scheduling during construction progress meetings with client(s)Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a closely related fieldA minimum of 5 years of experience managing construction work, encompassing a variety of project sizes (ranging from $5 Million to $100 Million plus) and complexities (involving multiple crews and crew sizes per shift).Familiarity with NYCDOT and NYCDEP Standards and Requirements.A valid driver's license is required.Must have OSHA 10-hour certification.Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong presentation abilities.Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Expedition, OneDrive, SharePoint, eBuilder, and MS Teams.Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape with innovation and precision.
