Investment Associate - Energy Transition Fund

My client, a private equity firm focused in the energy transition, are seeking an Associate to join their Investment team in a hybrid capacity.What You Will Bring:University degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, or other related field2-4 years of relevant industry experience, ideally in renewable energy project finance or Investment BankingProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, especially ExcelExcellent financial modelling skills. Strong knowledge of economic conceptsDetail-oriented and capable of driving multiple projects simultaneouslyComfortable in fast-paced, growing companyStrong presentation and interpersonal skills; able to communicate clearly, in both oral and written formsExperience working with financial models for renewable energy projects (Solar, Wind, Storage, etc.)Strong interpersonal skills, professionalism, and ability to work closely with members of different business groups and functions of a global company at all levelsStrong desire to advance the adoption of renewable energyEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Support the transaction negotiation with tax equitydebt financing partnersContribute to marketing presentations for potential financing & equity partners.Financial modeling of Renewables projects (Solar, Offshore Wind or BatteryStorage) in line with negotiated financing documents, and consultants' reports.Evaluate M&A opportunities for the companyPrepare internal committee presentations (financial statements, sensitivities) to senior management in relation to investment decisions
