Client Job Description:Job Title: Operations AssociateLocation: New York, NY Firm: Hedge FundHybrid: In Office 4 days a weekExperience: 4-8yrs, would go up to 10yrs max as this is a mid-level positionBase: 125-175k + bonusFor the right candidate, my client would be open to buying out a bonusMy client is looking for a sharp and high-performing middle office operations candidate with significant experience in Credit Default Swaps (CDS) and working experience with Enfusion OMS. This small firm offers great exposure within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Qualifications:• Ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience working in a middle officeoperations - Open to buy side and sell side• Experience with the Enfusion Order Management System• VBA experience along with a history of process improvement to increase operational efficiency• Experience with full trade life-cycle of Derivatives (CDS, TRS, OTC, etc.) • Understanding of corporate actions and how they affect holdings• Direct experience working with traders• Credit Derivative knowledge is a must• Experience with Enfusion is a must• Bachelor's Degree with proven academic success reflected in a high GPA• Fully authorized to work in the U.S. with no restrictions or sponsorship needed• Someone with few job moves and a proven track record of staying at a firmKey Responsibilities:• Reconciling trades and positions with custodians and Prime Brokers• Process and overlook trade confirmations• Keeping the firm's security master up-to-date• Play a key part in the development and enhancement of operational functions• Resolve settlement breaks for bonds, equity, cash, and options• Running EOD PnL and understanding drivers that may impact it
