Job Overview Dresdner Robin is seeking an experienced civil engineer project manager to work in our Jersey City or Fairfield N.J. office. This is a leadership role with the capacity to perform in the following areas: Site assessments and data gathering through the review of ordinances, utility information, permitting, site constraints, etc. toward a project's feasibility Preparation of conceptual plans and reporting Design of stormwater management systems, grading and drainage design Design of utility infrastructure Design of soil erosion controls and measures Preparation of construction cost estimates, permitting assessments and schedules Meeting, coordinating and corresponding with the client, various regulatory review agencies and other consultants on the design team Preparation of permit applications for submission to the various regulatory agencies Preparation of proposals and project scoping Managing/developing staff, project schedule and budget Other associated activities Job Requirements B.S. in Civil Engineering 7+ years civil engineering experience local to NJ & NYC Metro NYC and NY State experience a plus New Jersey P.E. required New York P.E. preferred Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Proficient in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Hydroflow/HydroCAD/Storm CAD, MS Word, MS Excel Fluent in Windows-based computer systems Strong project management potential Ability to work collaboratively with staff members and supervisors Ability to delegate, lead and manage staff Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities Excellent organizational and time management skills The successful candidate shall be highly-motivated, positive, organized, maintain a professional demeanor and able to work efficiently with others and independently. The candidate shall demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills. Travel will be required to sites and other office locations on occasion. Candidate needs unrestricted access to her/ his own vehicle.
