Provide psychotherapy/counseling at Catholic Charities Outpatient/ Counseling Office located in Lancaster, PA. Provide psychotherapy/counseling in compliance with policies and procedures of a licensed outpatient psychiatric clinic for an assigned caseload of children, adolescents, and adults. Services include intake, assessment, comprehensive treatment plans, collateral consultation, and discharge with referrals. Therapeutic modalities can include supportive psychotherapy, cognitive/behavioral therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy, and others, with individuals, families, and couples. Therapy will range from brief services, (short-term, crisis intervention and stabilization), to clients receiving continuation and maintenance care. Participate in clinical supervision and training. Collateral consultation, by phone, in writing, or face-to-face. Maintain clinical chart compliance including high quality, accurate, timely documentation in accordance with policies and regulations. Therapists are responsible for meeting the productivity expectation. Knowledge of and experience with multiple modalities of psychotherapeutic intervention. Must be computer literate. Excellent listening, writing and communication skills. Have a basic working knowledge of Catholic Social Teaching and faith issues that may present in therapy. Ability to maintain records and client charts. (electronic and paper). Ability to put clients at ease, whatever their physical or social need. Ability to be a team player. Commitment to the job, clients, and their families. Ability to be goal focused. Organizational and time management skills. The ability to be tactful, empathetic and sensitive to client situations. A high level of patience. Ability to deal with aggressive or anxious clients. The office location for the program requires the ability to climb stairs on a frequent basis. Service locations may require the ability to climb stairs on a frequent basis. Noise and/or level of distraction in the work environment is moderate. Monday through Friday and require evening hours. Master's degree in social work, or a related Mental Health Discipline. Catholic Charities requires State Police, Child Line, FBI Clearances, valid PA Driver's license, UPITT Youth Protection Training and adequate auto insurance according to agency policy.
