As a Growth Manager at RIVA, you are essential to effective opportunity capture and proposal development. RIVA is looking for an early career professional who is motivated, and ready to learn the ins and outs of effective Business Development and Capture Management. In this role, you will directly support the efforts of our CEO, the VP of Growth, and the Director of Growth for RIVA's HHS portfolio. You will help create and maintain capture plans, identify and qualify opportunities of interest for RIVA, collect market intelligence, track actions, milestones, and help prepare materials and business cases necessary to advance opportunities through RIVA's BD lifecycle. You will actively participate in the proposal process, develop content, and provide feedback to reviewers. Key Responsibilities include: General Support: Provide support to the Director of Growth for the HHS portfolio in all aspects of a capture, including identifying decisionmakers, understanding customer funding, incumbent status, past performance, etc. Qualification of Opportunities: Help the HHS Growth Director drive qualification of opportunities through research, presentation prep, coordination across RIVA related to contracts and pricing, and technical team for early assessment of opportunities. Information Management: Assist HHS Growth Director with maintaining accuracy in pipeline metrics and monitor various business intelligence tools (e.g. Govwin, Govtribe, HigherGov, etc.) for changes. Capture Tracking: Help develop complete and maintain a comprehensive sales/capture plan to track activity and for use at required gate reviews. Research: Perform research and participate in interviews to gather and document information related to customer technical and management hot buttons and pain points. Build Relationships: Identify and form relationships with current and potential government customers, Industry, and RIVA partners, that result in positive awareness of RIVA, our capabilities, and our culture. Cultural Ambassador: Represent RIVA at relevant industry networking events, conferences and other occasions where current or potential clients, customer stakeholders, or partners may be present. Promote attendance and activity through relevant social media (e.g. LinkedIn) working cohesively with RIVA's Marketing and Communications Team Teaming and Team Coordination: Work within RIVA and across our teammates to find strengths for our solution and proposals. Also, work with senior leadership, as assigned, to coordinate aspects of a capture related to teaming, e.g. Non-disclosure Agreements, Teaming Agreements, meeting cadence, and Capture Kickoff preparation. Staffing Support: Help identify program incumbents, key personnel for RIVA's top opportunities. Technical and Proposal Support: Work closely with Technical Team and Proposal Team through final stages of Capture to ensure full handoff of an opportunity following the release of an RFP. Write and/or edit technical content and proposal material to emphasize win themes, customer understanding and benefits of the RIVA approach. Help author content for RFIs as needed/directed. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in related field from an accredited university or college (Associates degree accepted with additional years of experience). 2-4 years of experience supporting federal contract programs or sales - including billable work supporting a client. Experience in federal health IT is greatly preferred. Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. Motivated by working with smart people and winning! Preferred skills and experience: 1-2 years FedCiv and/or FedHealth IT services experience as contractor or government employee. Ability to learn quickly, including technical and financial topics. Familiarity and experience using NextStage or other CRM systems for pipeline and opportunity management, Slack, and the standard Microsoft Suite of Tools (Sharepoint, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.), as well as business intelligence tools (e.g. Deltek Govwin, Govtribe, Highergov, BGov, etc.).
