Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Our client builds complex robotic systems to revolutionize manufacturing equipment for integrated circuits or microchips. Our client is responsible for powering over 80% of the worlds consumer electronics. We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer who will work on a team whose purpose is to design and develop complex mechanical systems for these machines. You will be exposed to R&D and manufacturing operations. Responsibilities: This candidate will be responsible for developing sub modules that involved robotics, mechatronics, optomechanics and precision mechanics. You will collaborate with system architects in a cross functional team to develop concepts, perform analysis, build and test prototypes, generate CAD designs, engineering drawings, partner with vendors and support integration testing. Qualifications for the Mechanical Design Engineer: 0 - 5 years of experience in Mechanical Design Engineering Mechanical design exposure to kinematics, dynamics, material properties and behavior, and structural analysis. Experience with 3D solid modeling for design conceptualization and realization. Basic experience with Finite Element Analysis such as stress/strain/deformation, the modal response Experience with Degree of Freedom (DOF) is a huge plus! Experience with tight tolerance is a huge plus!
