At US Foods®, we are looking for Professional Truck Drivers in Manassas, Virginia. We offer competitive salaries starting at $33.00/hour with potential for more on our component pay plan. New hires may also be eligible for up to $10,000 in retention bonuses. Route start times are early with 10-12 hour routes from Monday to Saturday. Our Manassas Delivery Drivers are dedicated professionals who safely drive trucks to customers and provide excellent customer service to enhance the client experience. In this role, you will also be responsible for handling collections and payments from customers when applicable, as well as performing all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections. Physical requirements include the ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift, and being comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift). To excel in this role, candidates must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications, as well as a minimum of six months commercial driving experience or three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
