Assembly and Test Technician

Flowserve is looking for an Assembly and Test Technician for their manufacturing facility in Taneytown, MD. Responsibilities: Perform hydrostatic pressure testing, precision pump assembly, and disassembly per bill of materials and operation method sheets Utilize precision measuring equipment and interpret blueprints while working in both English and Metric systems Fit parts, install piping plans as per drawings, and use a variety of hand, power, and air tools Follow work instructions, move materials using power lift trucks, operate overhead and jib cranes, and learn additional job functions within the facility Requirements: High School Diploma or GED 2+ years' experience in mechanics or specialized training Ability to read and interpret instructions and drawings Good mechanical ability, manual dexterity, and ability to stand for long periods of time Strong work ethic and commitment to following safety procedures and guidelines Preferred skills: Computer skills The pay range for this position is $18.59 - 27.86 USD Hourly Flowserve offers competitive pay, annual bonuses, medical benefits, paid vacation time, paid holidays, and 401(k) benefits.
