Do you have a background selling to tier one automotive OEMS? Join a global market leader with 11 production facilities globally. Client Details Our client is a global manufacturer of injection molded automotive parts. This global organization has over 11 manufacturing plants globally and sells to top OEM's like Tesla and BMW. This role will support the current business while also pursuing new business opportunities and new tier one OEM's. This person will need to have a strong hunter business development mentality and mindset. This is a remote work from home position in the Detroit, Michigan with travel. Description Conduct needs analysis to uncover customer needs and requirements for solutions. Identify and target new tier one customers and prospects - build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. Maintain regular contact with customers to organization meetings and maintain a strong relationship with. engineering, purchasing and other stakeholders. Pursue new business wins and applications. Lead customer RFQ process and provide technical input collaborating on pricing. Work cross-functionally with project teams and engineering teams. Support business wins and awards to ensure a smooth and successful program launch. Lead customer presentations, product demonstrations and work with decision makers on product selection Attend Marketing events, including trade shows. Keep track of sales activity in SalesForce CRM system. Develop and execute a strategic summary and 5 year plan to maintain and grow sales with target customers. Conduct pricing and technical information and perform customer follow up communication. Profile Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering (Engineering Preferred). Must have high technical aptitude and able to speak knowledgeably on technical applications. Background selling into tier one automotive OEMs is a must. Background with bumpers or injection molded products a huge plus. 5-10 years of experience in sales, account management, business development customer facing roles in automotive. Excellent communication and present skills to large and small groups High sense of urgency and attention to detail Microsoft Suite knowledge SalesForce CRM is a plus Strong math and problem solving skills Trustworthy and strong ethics Ability to travel up to 25% Job Offer Competitive base salary $130,000 - $150,000 base. Commission plan paid out per sale. Full US benefits package including healthcare, vision, dental, and other insurances. 401k with employer contribution. 3 weeks paid time off, with additional sick and holiday time.
