With a concentrated blend of experiential on-the-job learning, a dynamic environment, access to business leaders, and an encouraging team of co-workers, peers, and supervisors, the Internship and Co-Op Program will provide you the opportunity to sharpen your skills and collaborate on a number of strategic projects. We're seeking a part-time Accounting Co-Op(10-15 hrs per week) to join our business in North America during the Spring of 2025. These hours could increase for Summer 2025 to full time. You will provide Accounting support for North America operations. In this role, you will assist with the close process and various analyses, and ensure all reporting deadlines are met while collaboratively working with the Accounting Team and other Functions. You will also work on projects that support Accounting's continuous efforts to standardize and streamline processes. The Accounting Intern typically works for one of the following teams: Accounts payable Accounts receivable Indirect Tax/General Accounting What you will be doing The primary roles and responsibilities of this internship will be: Participate in monthly close process, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and any analysis associated with those activities Support business unit and accounting managers/analysts on various analyses Complete projects directly linked to the Accounting Team efficiency initiatives What sets us apart Avery Dennison's Internship and co-op Program is unlike any other with its emphasis on networking, community and support. Qualifications: Qualifications What you will need to bring to the program Avery Dennison has a long history of being an industry leader. Your history is important to us. It should include the following: Education Pursuing a BS in Accounting or Business or related field required.
