Nuclear Reactor Operator

PRIMARY FOCUS OF THE POSITION: The Nuclear Reactor Operator will be responsible for operating the Nuclear Power Station in accordance with licensed operator responsibilities as defined in station operating procedures. This includes ensuring safe, conservative, and efficient reactor operation at all times, monitoring control room panels, maintaining logs, and performing clearance activities. The role also involves coordinating radwaste releases, performing electrical switching, and being available for on-call status and emergency response organization duty. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalency certificate Completion of pre-employment tests and NRC-required physical examination Ability to obtain unescorted access to nuclear power plants 18 months of relevant power plant experience
