Senior Accountant (On-Site) | Addison Group - Hiring for Our Client Location: Pittsburgh, PA Job Type: Permanent Compensation: Up to $70,000 annually (strong benefits package) Position Overview: Our client, a comprehensive healthcare provider, seeks a Senior Accountant to join their team in Pittsburgh. This role is fully on-site with flexible working hours. You will work directly with the leadership team, playing an essential role in managing the general ledger, ensuring compliance, and supporting financial operations. Responsibilities: Manage daily operations within the general ledger, overseeing month-end and year-end accruals. Lead Accounts Payable, from invoice processing to payment approval and vendor reconciliation. Process insurance payments, including checks and virtual credit cards. Reconcile and analyze accounts to pinpoint discrepancies and variances. Work across departments to address financial data issues, supporting month-end and year-end processes. Prepare and review financial statements, analyses, and reports for decision-making and compliance. Maintain strong internal controls for accurate reporting and safeguarding assets. Keep current with accounting standards and implement process improvements. Support payroll processing and assist with annual audit preparation. Help prepare government reports and ensure regulatory compliance. Qualifications: Proficiency in Excel, GAAP, and general ledger experience is essential. Strong experience with month-end close and accruals. Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Familiarity with QuickBooks and Excel. A keen eye for detail, able to quickly identify discrepancies in financial statements. Team-oriented, adaptable, and focused on professional growth.
