Company Description Industrious Group, a wholly owned subsidiary of Itochu International Inc (a holding of Itochu Corp, a Global Fortune 70 company), operates two subsidiaries specializing in the manufacturing, rebuilding, repairing, and servicing of equipment for the metal forming, steelmaking, and hydropower industries. Key clientele includes automotive companies, tier one and tier two auto suppliers, major steel producers, and public and private utilities. Job Description As an officer and senior leader within the Industrious Group executive team, the role entails direct responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the company's financial strategy comprehensively, including mergers and acquisitions. Reporting directly to the Industrious Group President & CEO, the position acts as a crucial business partner, contributing to the guidance and value-building in the business. Provide support to the Industrious Group Board of Directors and shareholders as necessary. Hold key leadership accountability for merger and acquisition financial due diligence, business valuation, and post close financial integration activities for a growing and transformative business. Directly manage tax, treasury, finance, accounting, and compliance functions, ensuring robust processes and internal controls to safeguard corporate assets. Coordinate the preparation of financial statements, financial reports, special analyses, and operational reports. Provide timely and accurate analysis of budgets and financial reports to assist the CEO and other executives with their responsibilities. Oversee completion of a timely and clean annual audited financial statement. Strategically develop and implement the financial strategy of the company. This includes long-term financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk management, and investment strategies. Collaborate with the President on operational and strategic issues, offering strategic recommendations, financial analysis, projections, cost identification, allocation, ROI analysis, and revenue/expense analysis. Identify and prioritize financial information systems initiatives and projects. Develop and manage the information systems technology budget, ensuring strategic investments in technology infrastructure. Ensure company adherence to JSOX requirements, processes, and audits. Responsible and oversees all risk and insurance requirements. Enhances and/or develops, implements, and enforces policies and procedures at Industrious Group by way of systems that will improve the overall operations and effectiveness. Highly tuned to economic outlooks and market trends. Ensures compliance with all tax reporting requirements including income tax, franchise tax, sales tax, and employment taxes. Develop and manage direct staff, providing for the continued growth and development of all team members. Develop operational metrics to deepen analysis of organizational performance. Performs other financial related duties and/or executive level requests as required. Qualifications EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS MBA and/or CPA preferred, at least 15 years of applicable business experience of which 10 must be in a financial leadership role. Experience with mergers and acquisitions, and related negotiations. Manufacturing and Operations experience. Leadership with strategic planning and execution. A strategic and creative thinker with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgement, and operational focus. Ability to navigate through complex financial and operational situations to maximize results. Strong systems, process and best practice experience. High integrity, honesty, and wiliness to do the right thing. Articulate communicator. Well organized and self-directed. Excellent presentation preparation skills and the ability to deliver professionally. Experience delivering to demanding customers.
