Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg (Contract)Location: Manahawkin, NJ Postal Code: 08050Duration: 3 MonthsJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) setting. The RN will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and performing therapeutic interventions. This role requires a nurse with a strong foundation in Med-Surg who can manage patient care and collaborate with healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care.Key Responsibilities:Conduct assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care through planning, intervention, and and coordinate individualized care plans for patients, using ongoing assessments to adjust as necessary.Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care effectively.Document patient care accurately, reflecting standards of care, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.Advocate for evidence-based practice and adopt new practices to improve care delivery.Deliver patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice standards.Required Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent, strong Med-Surg experience.Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Certifications:Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA4-hour CEU Contact Stroke certificationValid NJ State Professional RN license or multi-state compact license.Languages: Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)Schedule:Hours Per Week: 36Hours Per Day: 12Days Per Week: 3Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AMAdditional Requirements: Every other weekend and holidays as scheduled.
