Job DetailsPosition TypeFull TimeEducation LevelHigh SchoolSalary Range$60,000.00 - $65,000.00 SalaryTravel PercentageNegligibleAccount ExecutiveLocation: Chantilly, VAOverview:UNICOM Government, Inc. has an immediate opening for an Account Executive (AE) to work in our Sales Organization. The AE must have proven relationships within one of the following areas, Federal Government, SLED, and/or Critical Infrastructure. As an AE, you will be responsible for identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities through individual ownership and coordinated marketing support activities with inside sales teams, field sales teams, and technology teams. An AE uses consultative selling tactics to educate customers on the application of current IT technology and professional services using various products and services. The AE will call on and close customers, as well as research, uncover, understand and analyze agency missions, budgets, priorities, and programs. In addition, you will maintain a healthy and positive relationship with new and future customers in order to facilitate future sales and provide inside sales support to manage accounts. In this role, one will function as the Inside and Customer facing sales support.Primary Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with key, decision-makers within a specified account territory.Understand and communicate UNICOM's value proposition and service offerings.Implement a sales strategy to promote UNICOM's solution capabilities and accurately forecast for new business.Assist in managing sales opportunities in conjunction with field, technical, and Professional Services support and provide input related to Bids & Proposals.Create moderately complex quotes, configure solutions with technical assistance, and accept purchase orders. Negotiate special pricing and upsell where appropriate. Make presentations to prospective customers to demonstrate UNICOM's solutions and services.Prepare and prioritize sales planning, quoting, cold calling, reporting results, and obtaining revenue goals in support of the organization's objectives.Build and maintain the CRM Customer strong relationships with UNICOM vendors/partners.Develop and manage a forecast and pipeline for specified territory.Responsible for working with Bids & Proposals on outlining the details of each deal won to determine bid actions.Collaborate with UNICOM resources to successfully deliver solutions to solve customer problems.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneQualificationsEducation and/or Experience:High school diploma or equivalent is required, a Bachelor's degree is preferred. 2-3 years of inside and outside sales experience is strongly preferred. Recent experience selling technology services and solutions to Federal Government, SLED, and or Critical Infrastructure customers required.Prior work experience selling IT Solutions is strongly preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Successful record of accomplishment of quota attainment/overachievement required.Must have strong written and oral communication skills. Ability to communicate with both internal customers and also external customers and vendors.Knowledge of utilizing is a plus.Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite required.Focused, driven, and motivated to increase revenue for the company.Must be available to work non-standard hours during peak season times.Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:None RequiredTravel Requirements: No travel requirements have been immediately identified for this role.
