Job Title : Senior Credit Analyst (hybrid) Location : New York, NY Pay: $80- $85 shift Timings : 8:00am to 5:00pm Position Summary The Senior Credit Analyst will manage a portfolio of investment-grade and high-yield clients, including both leveraged and non-leveraged groups. Strong projection modeling skills are required. The Credit Analyst will develop relationships with Risk Partners, Delegation Holders, Bankers (Coverage), and Product Teams (FX, IRD, Commodity, Equity, Global Trade Solutions, Loan Capital Markets, and Leveraged Finance). The role involves coordinating the credit process across various teams to ensure efficient transaction turnarounds. Detailed Responsibilities Monitor the credit quality of a portfolio of assigned clients, including investment-grade, high-yield, and sponsor-owned clients. This includes periodic reviews of borrower financial statements, press releases, news articles, industry information, rating reports, and peer analysis. Prepare credit proposals for new originations, annual reviews, facility renewals, amendments, waivers, watch list reports, refinancing, and underwritings of new clients. Coordinate the credit process with relevant coverage, product, and risk teams to ensure an efficient transaction turnaround. Create and maintain client exposure and internal risk ratings using bank rating methodologies. Participate in client calls, including bank meetings, for due diligence on assigned clients. Maintain reporting related to the portfolio, including deal flow, exposure tracking, and other general reports. Interact with internal and external auditors during loan examinations. Collaborate with other bank branches to coordinate information on group or contributor strategies. Mentor junior team members and contribute to the success of the team. Strengths and Skills for Success Solid knowledge of loan structures, terms, credit agreements, and projection modeling. Familiarity with general banking products and practices. Understanding of the healthcare sector is a plus but not required. Ability to multi-task and work under tight turnaround times in live deal transactions. Strong verbal and written communication skills; professionalism when dealing with Senior Bankers (Director and above). Self-starter with the ability to take initiative both independently and in team settings. Proficiency in Word, Excel, and English. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in a corporate banking environment (preferably in corporate credit) or rating agencies covering corporate clients. Experience with M&A transactions and LBO financing is a plus.
