Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Telemetry (Contract)Location: Manahawkin, NJ 08050Duration: 3 MonthsJob Description:We are looking for an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a short-term contract basis. This role involves delivering patient-centered care in a telemetry unit, focusing on continuous monitoring of patients' cardiac and vital signs, assessment, and intervention as needed. The RN will collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient needs, manage care, and ensure all documentation aligns with care standards and clinical priorities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, identify needs, and establish care priorities.Develop and implement individualized care plans through ongoing assessments.Perform therapeutic interventions and manage care for telemetry all patient care activities accurately based on standards of care and patient acuity.Support evidence-based practices and champion innovative care practices within the unit.Provide patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing standards and guidelines.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry experience required.Education: Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required, with graduation from an accredited nursing school. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Telemetry Requirements: Completion of Telemetry Certification or Telemetry Competency Exam is required.Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHAAdvanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from AHANational Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certificationActive RN license (NJ State or multi-state compact)Languages: Proficiency in English (Speak, Read, Write)Schedule:Hours Per Week: 36Hours Per Day: 12Days Per Week: 3Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AMAdditional Notes:Every other weekend requiredNo holiday or on-call shiftsMust be willing to float between units as needed3-week assignment
