Job Description ***Only qualified Infrastructure Associate candidates located near the Pittsburgh, PA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence*** Degree and Certifications: • VMWare certification plus • Bachelor's Degree IT plus • 5 years of IT career experience instead of a degree acceptable Must Haves: • Experience with analyzing server configurations to recommend sizing and hosting locations • Knowledge of provisioning infrastructure compute capacity efficiently • Understanding of infrastructure standards and how to apply and enforce them • Knowledge of non-Oracle/non-SQL database platforms • Experience with provisioning and administering Windows and Linux servers (VMWare Tools) • Working knowledge of automated infrastructure build scripts (YAML) Flex • Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, and ServiceNow experience would be nice to have The client is seeking a Technology Engineer Associate to design and build infrastructure supporting enterprise applications, specifically for pneumonic teams across the bank. This hybrid role based in Pittsburgh or Cleveland involves analyzing server configurations, recommending resource provisioning, and applying infrastructure standards. The candidate will prioritize multiple infrastructure projects, align deliverables with strategic goals, and maintain status reporting. Key skills include experience with Windows/Linux server administration (VMWare Tools), knowledge of non-Oracle/non-SQL databases, and automated build scripts (YAML). Banking or large-company IT backgrounds are a plus. Familiarity with Jira, SharePoint, Confluence, and ServiceNow is desirable, along with a Bachelor's degree in IT or 5 years of experience.
