COGS has partnered with a boutique, renowned Building Envelope Consulting firm in NYC as they seek to expand after the summer construction slow down.They are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Building Restoration Project Manager to join their growing team in New York City, a well cultured and well oiled business specializing in the design, assessment, and rehabilitation of building envelopes & facades. Their projects span a diverse range of building types, including commercial, residential, and institutional structures.Salary up to 135K DOEThis position plays a pivotal role in evaluating the condition of building facades and roofs, preparing comprehensive reports, and providing expert recommendations.Responsibilities:Conduct in-depth building envelope assessments and prepare detailed reports.Oversee construction projects to ensure compliance with design specifications.Perform specialized testing to identify building envelope deficiencies.Develop cost-effective repair and remediation strategies.Collaborate with clients and design teams to achieve project goals.FISPLL11 Reports in accordance with DOB requirementsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in building envelope consulting.Strong understanding of building science principles and construction practices.Proficiency in building envelope materials and systems.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
