Duties:Draft and negotiate documents for Low Income Housing projects that have agency financing, funds and tax credits.Directly advise and counsel PHFA employees in interpreting and enforcing Federal and State laws pertaining to affordable housing.Additional ResponsibilitiesServe as Counsel in representing PHFA in Court and Administrative Hearings.Serve as Counsel in Agency meetings and discussions with Agency constituents and their counsel.Respond to written and telephone inquiries from business partners, the public and legislators regarding Agency related issues.Review Agency contracts for form and legality prior to execution by the Agency.Respond to subpoenas for Agency confidential documents and represent Agency staff subpoenaed for deposition or other testimony.Prepare civil and criminal referrals for the Chief Counsel for review of Office of General Counsel and the Office of Attorney General.Anticipate, propose and draft legislative, regulatory and policy language to further implement andor amend the various statutes which affect the Agency.Advise and assist the Chief Counsel in analyzing proposals, situation, litigation, and other matters which involve the operations and responsibilities of the Agency.Requirements:- Juris Doctor or LL.B from ABA school- PA license to practice lawWhy PHFA?Outstanding Benefits: Exceptional medical benefits starting on day one.Retirement Plan: Secure your future with our pension plan.Flexible Work Options: Enjoy a hybrid work munity Impact: Make a significant difference in housing for Pennsylvanians through a reputable state program.Join PHFA and be a part of a team dedicated to supporting Pennsylvanians on their homeownership journey.
