Feel free to follow his leadership podcast and join his private LinkedIn Medical Affairs Group. Here is a video description of the jobOne of our clients is an emerging Pharmaceutical company in the Philadelphia area, and they have recently retained us to fill a newly created role for VP of Scientific Communications. This role is much more robust than most Sci Com roles. It will have strategic oversight of Med Info, Sci Com, Field Medical Training, Omnichannel communications, Publications, and MedicalPromotion Review. This is a headquarters role with three direct reports, with potentially two more in Europe, and a total team of about 18 people. What they are looking for is someone local who has experience leading Medical Information or Sci Com or both. They would also look at a VP of Medical Affairs that has had oversight of both departments. A terminal degree is preferred but not required, but they do require the person being on site three days a week. Therapeutically, they would love to find someone with an expertise in Liver Disease, but that is not a requirement. This role reports to the SVP of GMA, who has an incredible reputation, who is going to begin interviewing people over the next two weeks, so if you or someone you know if a seasoned Medical Affairs leader who would like to learn more about this exciting role, please contact Michael Pietrack on LinkedIn.
