Global Development Manager

Position Summary As a Global Development Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that AX Beauty's product offerings remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with market demands. As a Global Development Manager you are responsible for overseeing the creation, improvement , and market launch of products. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet market demands, align with company strategy, and are delivered on time and within budget.LocationSchedule: Hybrid schedule (3 days a week) at our NYC offices Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:Manage the development of new products from ideation to launch, ensuring timelines, budget and objectives are met.Serve as the cental point of contact for all product development activities ensure clear communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive successful product launches and ongoing supply chain operations.Understand customer requirements and translate needs to finished products. Manage multiple product development projects simultaneously, adjusting priorities as neededSupport product and customer compliance - productlabelingpackage.Develop and control product documentation - specification sheet creation, package specification, documentation, etc.Research, identify, and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure alignment with the company's quality and sustainability standards.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.Address and resolve supplier performance issues promptly to ensure a seamless supply chain.Negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal timing, pricing and payment terms.Implement and monitor quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure customer satisfaction.Collaborate with the quality assuranceregulatory team to establish and maintain product quality standards throughout the supply chain.Analyze market trends and work proactively to mitigate potential cost increases.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising product quality.Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact sourcing strategies.Attend and participate in both internal & external business partner meetings. Position Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field, or a combination of Education and Relevant Experience2-3 years proven experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably with a focus in the beauty industry In-depth knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and quality standards Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers Microsoft and Google Suite skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly skilled in time managementExcellent communication and collaboration abilities Salary: $80k-$100k Working Conditions Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit or stand at a desk for extended periods. Must be able to operate desktop computers, multiple monitors, proprietary software, phones, and standard office equipment. Occasional bending, reaching, and light lifting (up to 25 lb.) are required. The ability to effectively listen, understand and communicate by telephone and in person is vital to fulfilling the job's essential functions. Work EnvironmentThis is a regular full-time position in an office andor home office environment.
