Inbound Transportation ManagerRef No: 1423Location: Mansfield, MA (hybrid)Company Description:We're currently working with a $280M consumer goods distributor that grew 10% last year and is looking to continue this trajectory. As they continue to expand, they are looking to add a member of the team that can help take their Supply Chain team to the next level. Position Description:Will collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers on delivery of products and services.Will work on finding the best cost options for global shipping while still providing high levels of service.Monitors shipments and delivery with the help of a Transportation municates issues and works on cost effective resolutions.Works closely with Finance to ensure the budget is set and delivered through the year.Will drive continuous improvement in their function and assist across the entire supply chain organization.Works with cross functional partners to ensure service is met and expectations are aligned.Background Required: Highly energetic individual with 8+ years of transportation experience in OTR, rail, LTL, oceansea and air shipping.Has experience in service negotiations.Has worked with 3PLs and Freight Forwarders.Experience in working with Transportation Management Systems and MS Excel.Proven track record of success in similar role.Bachelor's Degree is required.Miscellaneous:Compensation: $120,000 - $150,000 + bonus.Full benefit package including medical, dental and 401(k).
