The role involves day-to-day tasks such as machine operation, in process quality control, and working with measurement tools to ensure the production of high-quality aerostructures and components.QualificationsCNC Machine Operation Skills (Mazak, Okuma, Mitsui Seiki)Ability to read and interpret engineering drawingsStrong attention to detail and quality standardsBasic math, trig, and computer skillsKnowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards5 years prior experience in aerospace manufacturingResponsibiltiesOperate multiple CNC machines and other machine tools.Use engineering drawings, sketches, job travelers to manufacture parts and follow direction from Leadperson, Production Manager or Engineering Department.Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments for in-process inspectionsComplete paperwork prior to moving parts to next operationMaintain a clean and organized work area to promote a safe and efficient environment, wear proper PPEMaintain machines as directed and report PM activities to maintenance supervisor and quality departmentMeet assigned production schedules while delivering high-quality workmanship
