You can find us at vertiq.co.Job Overview: Vertiq is currently seeking a self-motivated Quality Engineer who has a high attention to detail and is process-driven and able to work in small, cross-disciplinary teams. Their primary focus will be to oversee the quality of Vertiq's products from the reception of subcomponents through Vertiq's assembly and calibration process. The company is located in Philadelphia, PA. This will be an on-site role with some remote work flexibility.Responsibilities and Duties:Perform reception testing to hold suppliers accountable for their qualityEngage with production employees to assure quality within a BLDC motor and PCBA hardware production environmentInvestigate faulty work andor materials and advise production supervisors and suppliers as to corrective measuresConduct internal audits to ensure SOPs are being followed and implement improvements to enhance quality and process efficiencySign product conformance documentation following builds and keep detailed records of buildsProcess returned parts to determine non-conformancesCreate technical documentationUtilize Vertiq ERP system (Inflow) to perform daily activitiesMaintain a QMS system that is compliant with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100 standardsCommunicate with customers & suppliers representing the company in a professional mannerQualifications:Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline1-3 years of experience in hardware quality assuranceExperience with quality tools and quality techniques (FMEA, DOE, process mapping, etc.)Experience following a Quality Management SystemHigh attention to detail and commitment to following standard operating proceduresPreferred:Experience working with drone propulsion systems or other robotic actuation systemsCertified ISO Auditor andor Six Sigma belt holderExperience in the Aerospace industryExperience with PCBA electronics assembly or contract manufacturing of electronic products
