As an HVAC Service Technician, you will perform service and maintenance tasks on commercial and or industrial HVAC equipment. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Perform assigned HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting task safely in commercial and industrial settingsPerform preventative maintenance and repair of commercial HVAC equipment as neededDiagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.Service, diagnose and troubleshoot various types of split systems, packaged rooftop, rooftop units, heat pumps, DX systems, pneumatic, electrical control systems, and other mechanical equipmentDiagnose causes of breakdowns, test parts with appropriate instruments, disassemble and assemble parts, and make necessary repairs to equipment and associated components.Use your HVAC skills and experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain medium to large sized complex heating and cooling systems and associated control plete required electronic documentation daily on a handheld deviceWork independently, and as part of a team, to complete assigned tasks within an allotted time frameOperate company vehicle to complete service calls in a specified territoryPerform other related duties or special projects, as assignedEducation, Training, Licenses andor Certifications:3 to 5 years of experience or more repairing and troubleshooting commercial HVACR equipmentEPA universal certificationNATE certification preferred but not requiredExperience with RTU, air handlers, split systems, chilled water, or boiler systems, preferredOSHA 10 certification preferredAdditional Requirements:Maintain a positive, cooperative, and teachable attitudeRequires mechanical aptitude, mathematical and English language plies and promotes company Safety PolicyInitiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter.Excellent communication and customer services skills.Analytical and problem-solving skillsProfessional demeanor and positive, caring attitude.Must be able to work independently and without supervision.Ability to stand, squat, bend, stoop and comfortably lifting up to 50 lbs.Proficiency with electrical and mechanical diagnosticsFamiliarity with blueprint, schematic, drawings, and other equipment layout materialsAbility to pass a full background screening and drug screeningAbility to pass MVR checkAbility to pass a physical ability testAbility to travel, as needed, for projects
