Help Desk Technician Full-Time Permanent Position100% onsite - Long Island City- NY,NY$60-90k per year - Excellent benefits with free employee medical and strong 401k matchDay-To-Day *Act as first line of IT technical support for 600+ users is efficient, professional and timely. *Ensure technical problems are escalated appropriately in a timely way. *Address IT issues promptly with minimum interruption to business processes; escalate issues properly *Complete thorough, accurate, prompt and useful documentation*Assist with special projects assigned by management and ensure they are completed according to schedules and deadlines.*Help with general day-to-day support - configuring workstations and servers, implementing applications, supporting users when using off-the-shelf software, administering network peripherals, remediating slow systems (users' device, servers', resources, printing...), resetting passwords, provision cellphones, provision workstations and VDI Setup new users' desk in advance in a streamlined process and provide user training, administering users accounts, administering the phone system (phone extensions, hunt groups, outages...), creating new Active Directory user accounts, etc. Requirements: *3+ years of experience with help desk and desk side support *Strong Office 365 experience - this is key *Basic networking (multi-factor authentication - Duo, etc) *Experience with Active Directory *Microsoft and VMWare experiencecerts *Supporting phone and printer issues *Familiarity with supporting ERP systems - if you have someone without this let me know *Bachelor's Degree Preferred*Mac experience
