Information Technology Support Specialist

We are a leading staffing firm based in NYC (with offices nationwide) and have an URGENT need for an IT Support Specialist to join our team as soon as possible. Our ideal candidate will have advanced technical knowledge and a keen interest in adapting and implementing industry best practices and processes. We expect the salary to be $70-90K based on experience.Duties and responsibilities:Provide help desk support to our employeesAssist with our ATS (applicant tracking system)Work alongside our website developers on projectsHandle annual budget and ensure cost effectiveness for the IT departmentManage and coordinate all IT-related matters including data, wireless communications, mobile technology, telephone, security, and computer hardware and softwareTroubleshoot and solve problems related to hardware, software, and network problemsResearch and recommend acquisition of network hardware and softwareMonitor network utilization and performance, implement procedures for network optimization, reliability, and availabilityIdentify problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in timeBuild long term relationships with outside vendors for IT-related products and servicesRequirements:Previous experience as an IT specialistmanager for (6) years+Bachelor (4-year) degree, with a technical major, such as engineering or computer scienceMust be experienced with GoogleG-suite systemsMust be experienced with Microsoft Systems AdministrationSystem Engineer certification a plusProblem solver, analytical and critical thinkerExcellent verbal and writing skillsProject and time management skillsOutstanding communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
