Litigation Counsel

Insight Global is seeking a Litigation Counsel to join an international and domestic insurance organization on a fulltime basis. This is a hybrid role in Anaheim, CA (92805).If selected, you will manage and litigate complex property, casualty, and auto insurance claims, providing expert legal representation and guidance throughout the litigation process. You will work closely with claims adjusters, underwriters, and external counsel, ensuring that all litigation matters are handled effectively, efficiently, and in line with company goals.RequirementsJD degree from an accredited law schoolActive member in good standing of the CA state bar3+ years of experience in property, casualty, and auto insurance litigation (either in-house or with a law firm)Strong litigation and trial skills, with experience managing complex casesExcellent negotiation, communication, and analytical abilitiesAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with insurance policies, coverage issues, and industry regulationsResponsibilities Oversee and manage property, casualty, and auto insurance litigation cases from inception through resolutionProvide legal advice and counsel to internal teams, including claims adjusters, underwriters, and senior management, on litigation strategy, coverage issues, and case evaluationsCollaborate with external legal counsel, monitoring their performance, costs, and progress on assigned casesConduct legal research, prepare legal pleadings, discovery, and motions as neededEvaluate and advise on settlement opportunities and risk exposures, working towards efficient resolution of claimsEnsure compliance with relevant state and federal laws, regulations, and internal policiesMaintain detailed records and documentation of litigation files, ensuring proper communication with all stakeholdersRepresent the company in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitrationsAbout the Company:Our client prides themselves on offering a wide range of innovative insurance products tailored to meet the diverse needs of their customers.
