Established in 1999 the company prides itself on developing and sourcing high quality fashion accessories at great prices, and delighting our customers with great customer service.Role DescriptionReporting to the Director of Merchandising and Design, this is a full-time on-site role as a Product Development Assistant for Fashion Accessories at Concept One Accessories in New York, NY. The role involves tasks related to product lifecycle management, market research, and product development to support the expansion and enhancement of the company's accessory offerings.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist and support the day to day tasks of the product development team as needed Assist in reviewingapproving incoming samples, dips, and all design related submits Organize and maintain a neat and easily accessible materials and sample library Assist in the tracking, receiving and sending of design & development-related packages Assist in creation of seasonal PowerPoint Presentations and Product Catalogs Assist in creating trend decks Manage and track all customer and meeting samples requested for area of responsibilityPerform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in a fashion-related field (design, merchandising, product development) is a plus Experience: 1-2 years Proficiency in Microsoft Office ProfessionalSelf-motivated and ability to thrive in fast paced environment Excellent organization skills with ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously Strong attention to detail Ability to work well with multiple team members with a positive team player attitude Strong communication and follow-up skills Exceptional attention to product details Humility and eagerness to learn and grow
