Our client, an investment firm that works to provide investment solutions for their own clients, is seeking a Legal & Compliance Administrative Assistant to join their team in San Francisco. Our client is seeking a bright, professional, well-organized, resourceful, and detail-oriented individual to support the Company's General Counsel ("GC") and Legal Department. Must possess a strong work ethic, calm demeanor, positive attitude, and genuine desire to contribute to and enhance the performance of the GC and the Legal Team.**This is a hybrid, temp position with a possibility for extension in San Francisco. Pay will be $40-45hr**Responsibilities:Support the General Counsel by:Managing schedules, travel arrangements, and expenses (using Concur)Handling phone coverage, drafting correspondence, and preparing presentationsFormatting, editing, tracking, and proofreading contracts and legal documentsEnhance Legal Department operations by:Tracking contracts and invoices from intake to execution using databases and DocuSignAssisting business teams with contract review proceduresOrganizing and managing legal document filesSupporting Board meetings, including scheduling and preparing agendas, minutes, and other materialsAssisting with corporate and fund regulatory filings domestically and internationallySupport Global Head of Risk & Compliance by:Preparing presentations, compiling expense reports, and organizing meeting materialsCoordinating with other departments on strategic projectsQualifications:Minimum 7 years of administrative support experience, preferably in a legal settingHigh proficiency in MS Word (advanced formatting and redlining), Adobe Acrobat, and strong ExcelPowerPoint skillsMust have experience in formatting, editing, and typing agreementsStrong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail and confidentialityBABS degree preferred; financial services experience a plusMust be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.Please submit your resume for considerationYou can use WorkGrades to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose by visiting homecandidate.
