The firm is widely recognized for its excellence and is frequently ranked as a Barron's and Forbes top RIA firm.Cresset is seeking an Associate Director, Private Wealth Client Services with 5+ years of experience managing the administrative and private banking needs for high net worth and ultra-high net worth clientele. The candidate will serve as a primary point of contact for clients and collaborate with a portfolio manager to build strong relationships and to drive retention and growth by providing a superior experience.Primary Responsibilities:Manage client relationships on multi-custodial platformsServe as a primary lead for client onboarding, investment implementation, and private banking servicesCreate and implement customized onboarding experience for high net-worth clientsTransfer and reconcile assets from contra firmsImplement new investment strategies and hire managers as directed by advisorPrepare client subscription and redemption documents related to alternative investmentsManage client billing (assign attributes, startend dates, raising cash)Assist with client inquiries regarding inflow and outflowsEstablish lines of creditmarginEstablish 529 accountsManage client donor advisedcharitable distributionsAttend quarterly client portfolio review meetings as needed (FO)Serve as a liaison between Cresset and client CPA's and attorneys (FO)Manage tax document facilitation with client CPA's (FO)Identify new technology and opportunities to enhance client experience and promote internal scalabilityQualifications and Characteristics:Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent industry experience5+ plus years' financial services experience working with ultra-high net worth clientsKnowledge of Fidelity and Schwab custodial platforms a plusOperate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is essentialApproach problems with creativity, innovation, and tenacityPossess a strong sense of urgencyThink strategically and operate independentlyMultitask to successfully manage multiple assignments simultaneouslyEvaluate and prioritize tasks to meet deadlinesOrganize and create structure for client relationshipsCollaborate and provide meaningful input to the teamAdapt, improvise, and overcome challengesQuickly and efficiently process and absorb informationStrong attention to detail to achieve thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a taskEstablish and maintain positive working relationships with clients, peers, CPAs, attorneys, and other professionalsProactively approach problem solving with strong decision-making capabilityProven ability to handle confidential information with discretion and demonstrate the highest level of client service, ethics, and integrityExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficient in the use of Salesforce, Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookWhat We OfferAt Cresset, we focus on people first. Salary will be based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, licensescertifications, industry knowledge, and geographic location.
