location: Waltham, Boston, MA (Onsite)Job description:We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with a strong background in automation testing and expertise in the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC). The candidate will be responsible for crafting and implementing automated test scripts using Python and a BDD framework to guarantee the quality and dependability of our software applications.Key responsibilities:Design, develop, and implement automated test scripts using Python to ensure comprehensive test coverageCollaborate with multi-functional teams to understand application requirements and develop effective test strategiesPerform regression, functional, and performance testing to validate software qualityIdentify and document defects, facilitating timely resolutions with the development teamMaintain and improve the existing test automation framework and processesRequired Skills: 5 to 7 years' experience in testing and understanding of STLC and testing methodologies.Experience in Python programming languageExperience with test automation tool SeleniumExperience with CICD processes and tools such as JenkinsHands on working experience in Linux (e.g. CentOS) is required & Windows is preferredExperience in performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Load Runner)Experience of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, SoapUI)Strong analytical and problem-solving skillsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and practicesExcellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentLife at CapgeminiCapgemini supports all aspects of your well-being throughout the changing stages of your life and career.
