Valuations Analyst/Associate

Valuations Analyst opportunity with a Top Hedge Fund in NYC!The role will be responsible for the valuations of alternative investment positions and verify their accuracy via independent third party systems and processes. This group also works on management reporting, which entails analysis of trends and metrics across the entire firm.Firm Overview• Global Investment Management Firm in NYC• Investments span PE, Credit, RE, & HF• 40+ Years in Business, very stable environment!• Global Offices• Top Compensation and Benefits package; along with a great worklife balanceResponsibilities• Assist in valuation analyses for a diverse range of private equity and credit investments.• Support the development and enhancement of valuation models.• Analyze financial models, including discounted cash flows (DCF), market multiples, transaction approaches, etc.• Partner across teams to support and improve firm-wide data management initiatives.• Coordinate the independent valuation & verification of the portfolio• Coordinate pricing requests• Liaise with colleagues across the firm (front, middle and back office)
