DevOps Engineer - AWS/Scripting (REMOTE HST)

CGS is hiring a FULL-TIME DevOps Engineer to join a large Financial Services firm on the Integrations team. You will be responsible for maintaining and improving the reliability and performance of the cloud-based infrastructure supporting the company's digital platform.Location: (HST Hours) Requirements 5 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, and or Automation Engineering requiredStrong experience with AWS and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.Proficiency in scripting and automation tools such as Python, Golang, Bash, and TerraformExperience with monitoring tools like Datadog.Expertise in managing and optimizing APIs and SQL-based databasesFamiliarity with CICD pipelines and version control systems like Git.Strong understanding of network protocols, security practices, and cloud architecture best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on root cause analysis and incident resolution.Experience working with agile and in a well-defined Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environmentBachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, related field (or equivalent experience) requiredResponsibilities Support critical applications and ensure the stability of the applications by performing proactive maintenance activities, engage in automation activities, do root cause analysis and remediation.Ability to write and maintain scripts to monitor system activity.Develop and maintain automation tools to handle all engineering and application support tasks.Engage in production issue troubleshooting bridge calls, provide immediate service restoration, follow up on root cause analysis, and ensure permanent fix is implemented to avoid similar problems in the future.Coordinate and execute application releases and production deployments.About CGS Business SolutionsCGS specializes in IT business solutions, staffing and consulting services.
